The American Craft Council Showpresents outstanding works by America's leading craftspeople for purchase by the public and to the trade.

Begun on a modest scale, in 1966, the shows have grown to become a model of quality and leadership in the craft field and a major support system for producing craftspeople.

Selected through a rigorous peer-review process, the craft exhibitors create unique displays of their work and are present throughout the shows to meet directly with visitors.

Smithsonian Craft Show

Widely regarded as the nation’s most prestigious juried show and sale of fine American craft, the Smithsonian Craft Show celebrates the creative spirit of America and provides significant support for the Smithsonian Institution. 

The annual Smithsonian Craft Show is a juried exhibition and sale of contemporary American crafts. 

The show is produced by the Smithsonian Women's Committee to benefit the Smithsonian Institution's education, outreach, and research programs.  The Show does not charge sales commissions.
